Smaller groups = more time at each encounter
Away from Kona’s congestion and tourist fleets
Every winter, North Pacific humpbacks migrate over 3,000 miles to breed and give birth in Hawai‘i’s warm waters. The Kohala coast offers one of the most peaceful viewing zones – calmer seas, fewer boats, and whales that often swim right up to the hull. You’ll be the audience to their calming whale songs and may witness 40-ton mothers teaching calves to breach. Though we never enter the water, it often feels like the whales are meeting you eye-to-eye.
