Flippers Under The Sea LLC dba Puako Dive Adventures is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards.

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.

 

Puako Dive Adventures is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard. We have utilized the features and tools within Wix Studio to audit and implement necessary changes toward full conformance.

  • Video Content: The videos contained on the site are original media, mostly depicting underwater life, diving, snorkeling, and on-the-water activities (like whale watching).

    • These videos do not contain audio or narrative descriptions as they are primarily used for decorative purposes or to visually showcase the sea life in the Puako reef.
